Looking back over this short semester, the studio has created an environment key to my growth in ceramics techniques thanks to inspiring artists, a collaborative space, and a free space open to experimentation.
Adrian Saxe was born in 1943. He received his BFA at Otis Art Institute and his MFA at Chouinard Art School.
Rebecca Hutchinson received her MFA from the University of Georgia, Athens and her BFA from Berea College. Her site specific works have been influenced by ecosystem dynamics and environmental concerns.
Henry Takemoto (1930 -2015) was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He recieved is Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Hawaii. In the 1950s he traveled to California to attend the Ottis art Institute. There he studied under Pete Voulkos.
Ashraf Hanna was born in Egypt, and studied Foundation and Access Studies in Expressive Art at El Minia College of Fine Arts. He got his Master in Arts at Royal College of Art. He now lives in the UK in Pembrokeshire.
